These Terms and Conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements concluded through our
webshop.

2. Applicability
These Terms apply to all distance contracts concluded between The Fates and consumers within the
European Union and the United Kingdom.
By placing an order, the customer agrees to these Terms.

3. Product Information
We ensure that all product descriptions are accurate and complete, including:
Material composition

Size information (including size guide)
Care instructions
Color description
Price including VAT
Shipping costs (clearly stated before checkout)
Delivery time estimate
Minor variations in color or appearance due to screen settings do not constitute a defect.

4. Prices and VAT
All prices displayed include VAT applicable in the customer’s country of residence (where required
under EU VAT OSS rules).
For UK customers:
Orders may be subject to import VAT or customs duties depending on order value.
These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.

5. Conclusion of the Agreement
The contract is concluded when:
1. The customer completes the checkout process.
2. The customer clicks the button marked “Order with payment obligation” (or equivalent).
3. The customer receives an order confirmation by email.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders in case of:
Pricing errors
Suspected fraud
Unavailability of stock

6. Payment
We accept payment via:
iDEAL
Credit card

 PayPal
Klarna (if applicable)
Other listed payment methods
Payment must be completed before shipment unless otherwise agreed.

7. Delivery and Returns
We deliver within the EU and the UK.
Estimated delivery times for regular orders :
Netherlands: 7 working days
EU: 14 working days
UK: 14 working days
Delivery times are estimates and not strict deadlines.
Risk transfers to the customer upon delivery.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU & UK Consumers)
Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day the customer receives the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, customers must notify us via email.
After withdrawal:
The customer has 28 days to return the goods.
Refund will be issued within 14 days after receipt of returned goods.
Refunds are made via the original payment method.

9. Conditions for Returns
Returned items must:
Be unworn and unused
Have original tags attached
Be returned in original packaging
Show no signs of damage
We reserve the right to deduct value if the product shows use beyond necessary inspection.
Return shipping costs are borne by the customer unless the item is defective.
The customer shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods unless the goods are defective,
damaged, or incorrectly delivered.

10. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
Custom-made, made to order or personalized clothing

11. Conformity and Legal Guarantee
Consumers are entitled to a minimum 2-year legal guarantee within the EU.
Products must conform to the contract and meet reasonable expectations regarding quality and
durability.
If a product is defective, the customer may request:
Repair
Replacement
Price reduction
Refund (where legally applicable)
12. Complaints Procedure
Complaints must be submitted via email within a reasonable time after discovery of the defect.
We will respond within 14 days.
EU consumers may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR).

13. Liability
Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product, except in cases of:
Intent
Gross negligence
Death or personal injury
Nothing in these Terms limits statutory consumer rights.

14. Data Protection (GDPR & UK GDPR)
We process personal data in accordance with:
EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
UK GDPR (for UK customers)

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
However, consumers residing in another EU Member State or the UK retain mandatory consumer
protection rights under their local law.
